You're Solving the Wrong Problem - Ebook.jpg

What this book is about

This book shows why problems return even when teams work hard to fix them. It explains how assumptions, unclear expectations, rushed answers, and pressure distort thinking long before solutions are discussed. Through practical examples and clear disciplines, it helps leaders slow down, ask better questions, and see what is truly happening inside their systems and processes.

Who this book is for

  • Leaders dealing with recurring issues

  • Organizations overloaded with tools but missing clarity

  • Teams caught in cycles of rework and firefighting

  • Anyone who wants to understand why their problem solving keeps failing

What you'll learn

You’ll learn why problem solving breaks down at the start, how assumptions shape decisions, and how to use disciplined questions to understand what’s actually happening before acting.

Why I wrote this book

After 30 years in operations and quality, I saw the same pattern across industries: teams were solving symptoms, not causes. Urgency, assumptions, and pressure pushed teams toward fast answers instead of accurate understanding. This book is a practical guide to stabilizing the thinking behind problem solving so issues don’t return.

Book status

The draft manuscript is complete and the final cover is approved. I’m preparing launch materials for a planned June 2026 release. The book will be available in print and Kindle.
